Attorney at Law

Background

Christine T. LeVu dedicates the entirety of her practice to representing workers that have been subjected to illegal employment practices. Christine began her legal career defending corporations and businesses in wage and hour class actions, which give her an edge in developing the best legal strategies when representing clients in class action lawsuits. Christine seeks to fight to protect the rights of all individuals that were subjected to an employer’s unlawful practices in order to obtain unpaid wages and other compensation on their behalf.

Christine has experience in litigating class action lawsuits involving a wide range of workers, including construction workers, restaurant workers, personal attendants in home health, retail workers, car salesman, mechanics, installers, technicians, commission-based employees, and piece rate employees. These cases were based on violations such as:

  • Unpaid Minimum Wages

  • Unpaid Overtime Wages

  • Unpaid Wages Under Piece-Rate

  • Denied Meal/Rest Breaks

  • Failure to Timely Pay Final Wages

  • Failure to Pay Accrued Vacation at Termination

  • Unlawful Deduction of Wages

  • Unreimbursed Business Expenses

  • Independent Contractor Misclassification

During law school, Christine gained valuable experience and an insider judiciary perspective on litigation issues and court rulings by serving as a judicial extern for both the Honorable William McCurine, Jr. (Ret.) in the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and the Honorable Jeffrey B. Barton (Ret.) in the Superior Court of California, County of San Diego.  In addition, Christine also served as a judicial extern for the United States Attorney General’s Office, Central District of California, which contribute to her spirit and drive to prosecute and move claims forward.

Christine attended law school in San Diego where she served as an associate notes and comments editor for the prestigious California Western Law Review. Prior to earning her law degree, Christine earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, from the University of California Irvine.
